Prayer in honor of Christ's Wounds on the shoulder by the Holy Bernard of Clairvaux (1090 -1153, 20 August)

Jesus Kingdom of Love , God's gentle leaving early, I'm a sinner in need of Your Most Holy Wound of Thy mercy salute and honor the Most Holy Wound on your shoulder, on which you carry your heavy cross and ripped up your skin and laid bare your legs, so that it gave you more pain than any other wounds on Your Sacred Body. I adore You, suffering Jesus, I praise and honor You and I thank You for this painful and Sacred Wounds incurred by You for my sake.
Given this terrible pain and the enormous burden that Your Cross was, so I ask you to be merciful to me a sinner, forgive me, all weakness sins and mortal sins, and lead me to heaven on the Holy Cross way. Amen.
